About the role

This ‘hands on’ delivery role provides a rare opportunity to enter the front line of health care innovation. You’ll join a small, multi-disciplinary team at the LEO Innovation Lab, working on one of our cornerstone products, InTouch.

InTouch is the first tele-dermatology follow up tool in Canada, and a new way for doctors and patients to interact. The doctor can digitally follow up with patients, increase patient care & ultimately help fast track patient recovery through treatment adherence. See more on (http://heyintouch.com/)

You’ll be part of a fast-moving, start up environment, working alongside the local team based in Toronto and in close collaboration with the HQ in Copenhagen.

We’re interested in meeting people with a track record of getting things done. For this role, that means five things more than anything else:

Market entry

You have an in-depth understanding on how the market for Healthcare in Canada works, and will use this knowledge to find the best market fit for InTouch. This means exploring every option from primary to secondary care as well as payers both public and private.
You are not afraid to try new ideas and are not bound by conventional ways of working and thinking within healthcare. 

Relationship Building

You’ll own the customer development phase of bringing InTouch to market. In this role, you will build relevant relationships within health care, from dermatologists and nurses trialing InTouch, to hospitals participating in a clinical evaluation. In this role, you’ll meet clinicians across Canada and share what we’re doing, establishing friendly rapport, while also working efficiently and respecting their time. Your objective is to gather their honest feedback and gain product insights while also identifying the early adopters.

Account Management

Once you’ve found the early adopters, you’ll continue to nurture the relationship by providing world class account management and ongoing support for our clinician users. Tasks include working with the clinician’s healthcare team at the clinic to onboard patients onto InTouch and working directly with skin patients to answer troubleshooting questions, solve problems, listen for product improvement suggestions and generally help users have a great experience.

Product Development Enabler

You’ll collaborate with our product teams in Copenhagen as our “eyes and ears” on the ground, sharing insights from key stakeholders and clinical opinion leaders. You’ll also work with our engineering and compliance teams to solve issues as they arise.

Collaborating with LEO Pharma Canada

By working collaboratively with LEO Pharma Canada’s commercial business, you will benefit from LEO’s strong network of clinician contacts to find new clinics for InTouch and other channels that could be used to make InTouch a success. You will foster a close relationship by sharing progress in townhalls, engaging the local team on a daily basis and participating in local projects as appropriate and where your expertise is required

In this role, you will be using your skills to play a part in shaping the digital health services of the future, improving the lives of those living with skin conditions and supporting health care professionals to be their very best. If that sounds exciting, this is the role for you!

About you

You’re an energetic, pro-active person who can talk to anybody about anything. You have a keen eye for detail; people know that when you’re around, everything’s under control. You’re a clear, solutions-oriented communicator. You’re equally comfortable reacting to events as you are meticulously planning ahead. You see challenges as opportunities to grow and turn the situation around.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining relationships with very important stakeholders for the LEO Innovation Lab, including early users, influential doctors and key partner organisations. Your objectives will be about building trust, as such you’ll have thrived in account management or client services roles. Or possibly you’ve been in a business development role working with a more established product, and want to flex your skills in a start up environment.

You have previously worked within health care and understands what it takes to bring a digital product to market. You are open to explore options in the market and have a great sense of ownership to make InTouch a success in Canada.
