We are looking for a talented and team-spirited front-end developer, who shares our passion for creating innovative digital solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a highly agile team and be part of shaping the future of healthcare and clinical trials.

You’ll be joining Studies&Me, a pioneering digital web-based platform to improve recruitment for clinical trials. Improving treatment pathways for skin conditions is only possible by better connecting patients and researchers. By joining our ambitious and fast-paced team, you’ll build web applications that have the potential to do just that.

The role is based in the heart of Copenhagen in LEO Innovation Lab’s offices on Silkegade. You will be part of a multidisciplinary community with one common goal: To help people living with a chronic disease.

Your Role will involve: 
    • Develop our existing React applications by writing modular, scalable, testable JavaScript and TypeScript
    • Work closely with , and incorporate feedback from product management, UX designers, and backend engineers
    • Contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement
    • Prototype product concepts
    • Test and QA your code relentlessly
 
What we expect from the ideal candidate: 
    • A desire and an ability to learn new technologies
    • An eagle-eye for detail and passion for perfection and delightful user experiences
    • Contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement
    • Experience with cross browser quirks and compatibility issues
    • Experience developing modular user interfaces, and familiarity with modern CSS frameworks, tools and workflow
    • Thorough understanding of Javascript and associated best practices
    • Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documentation)
    • Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance

Bonus points:
    • You have demonstrated experience contributing to open source projects 
    • You have a GitHub profile or link to open source work 
    • A solid understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, headers, asset loading / caching)
    • You have developed full-featured web-apps using a Javascript framework such as React, Backbone or Ember
    • Great written communication and documentation skills
    • A data-mindset with the ability to make product decisions based on the insights available through analytics and A/B testing etc.
