Join us to make an impact for healthcare
In a world where access to clinical support is waning due to the growing shortage of doctors and outdated healthcare systems, we believe that everybody should have access to the care they need when it comes to the health of their skin. To help democratise healthcare, and build a more efficient patient journey, we develop technologies that leverage the power of dermatological AI to make high quality and effective healthcare available from the smartphone in your pocket.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, persistent, helpful, and thorough colleague to assist in the wrangling of data to prep it for our experiments and AI technology.
Your job will consist of reviewing cases and label (tag) the cases as per the annotation guidelines. The tasks will be carried out in our online labeling system or through other digital tools, where your proficiency with a computer can shave off many hours of work.
We expect that you are…
- Proficient with the use of modern operating systems and web browsers.
- Able to thrive even when work tasks can seem repetitive.
- Willing to reach out when instructions are not clear or an edge case is seen.
- Seeking to be part of an international team to make an impact within healthcare.
Your concrete tasks include identifying and locating body parts in an image, assessing pigmentation type in an image, identifying images a particular subject appears in, and performing semantic segmentation of medical images. You will also be expected to write additional annotation guidelines, as new wrangling tasks constantly emerge.
We expect you to deliver on the tasks to the best of your ability given the provided material.
Your skills and experience
As our ideal candidate…
- You are highly proficient in spoken and written English (our workplace language).
- Mac, PC, iPad, smartphone, and web browsing come natural to you.
- You are computer literate and capable of working in a technology-driven environment.
It is a bonus if you have knowledge of programming and data relations; e.g. from your current studies.
In return, we offer a unique opportunity to work in the heart of Copenhagen with an international team where leading edge research is turned into real impact on the lives of people suffering from skin diseases.
