Privacy Notification for individuals sharing personal information with Lundbeck, LEO and IQVIA
In connection with receiving your application for participation in the Clinical Trials Innovation Challenge, H. Lundbeck A/S, LEO Pharma A/S and IQVIA (all parties may be referred to jointly as “we”) will (as the data controllers) collect, process, use and disclose personal data about you as described in more details in this Privacy Notification.
We will process your personal data according to applicable legislation, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).
What categories of personal data are we processing and for what purposes?
We may collect and process the following types of personal data about you:
- Your name,
- Your address and telephone number,
- You e-mail address,
- Your work experience,
- Your professional competencies,
- Your educational background,
And other relevant information you have included in your submission.
We process your personal data for the purpose of assessing your submission for participation in the Clinical Trials Innovation Challenge.
Please note that we do not need your social security to fulfil this purpose. We kindly ask you to remove your social security number from your submission.
What is the legal basis for our processing of your personal data?
The legal basis for our collection and processing of your personal data set out above is:
- GDPR Art. 6(1)(f): The legitimate interest that we pursue is the management and selection of a potential winner in the challenge.
Will we disclose your personal data to third parties?
We may disclose your personal data to external experts in the field and relevant joint capital companies
These parties may be located outside the EU/EEA. The transfer of your personal data will only happen if you consent (cf. GDPR, Art. 49(1)(a)).
How long will we store your personal data?
We store your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above, however, for no longer than 6 months after receipt.
We have taken necessary and adequate steps in order to protect your personal data and ensure your rights as a data subject.
Please note that certain limitations may apply to your ability to exercise these rights. Subject to these limitations, you have the following rights:
- Right of access
You have the right to request access to the personal data we process about you.
We must provide a copy of the personal data undergoing processing, as a starting point free of charge or by electronic means, if the request has been submitted in a commonly used electronic form.
- Right to rectification
You have the right to rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you, including completion of incomplete personal data.
- Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)
Under certain circumstances, you have the right to the erasure of the personal data concerning you.
- Right to restriction
Under certain circumstances, you have the right to restrict our processing of personal data concerning you.
- Right to data portability
Where processing is based on a consent or a contract and the processing is carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You have the right to transmit this personal data to a third party without hindrance from us, if technically possible.
- The right to object
You have the right to object to our processing of personal data concerning you, for example when we process your data on behalf of the GDPR Art. 6 (1) (f) or if we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes.
If processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Please note that this does not affect Lundbeck’s processing of your personal data prior to the withdrawal of your consent.
